Yioldassis, Yula - Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. Beloved wife of 50 years to Nick. Loving mother of Harriet, Renna & George (Alyson). Proud Yiayia to Elyse, Stephanie & Nicholas. Yula was a valued and respected long time member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church in Toronto.

I remember your Mom telling me that she wondered if she had moved into the right neighborhood. Why? Your Mom would see Joyce (my Mom) out sweeping the driveway a few times a week.

Please accept my sympathy upon the passing of Yula. Every time I saw her, it was my pleasure. She graced us with her presence and was a true lady. In 1993, as a student in Toronto, she and Nick were gracious with their hospitality and I particularly remember one dinner when her cousin Stathi was visiting from Brazil, my godfather and her little granddaughters were all present. With her cousin Kay, she made a special effort to attend my sister's wedding in Greece. The fond memories are plentiful, and her kindness to my parents was much appreciated. Η μνημη σου στη σκεψη μαs κερακη αναμενο. Αιωνια σου η μνημη κουμπαρα.

Nick, Harriet, Renna, George and Alyson and children,

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Y's passing while we were away.
I knew that she was not well though she has lived a great life. Mrs Y truly was a wonderful person, very kind and generous.
We so enjoyed the back yard BBQ's with all of you!
