鄭玉志先生 Yuk Chi Cheng

December 28, 1939 -  January 3, 2018

Yuk Chi Cheng (David Cheng), 78, passed away on January 3rd, 2018 at Michael Garron Hosptial (Formerly Toronto East General Hospital) in Toronto, ON. He was born on December 28th, 1939 in Canton, China to Ying Chong (Mother).

Yuk Chi grew up in Canton, China. After college he immigrated to Canada, furthered his studies in Toronto, and began working for VIA Rail as a stewart where he enjoyed working for 36 years. He retired in 2004. Yuk Chi married Kwokso (Amy) in 1973 in Toronto. They were happily married for 45 years. He was a great man who enjoyed sports, music, travel, dancing with his wife, and spending time with his family. Most Saturday nights you would find him cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs on TV. He was a responsible and caring man who took care of grandparents on both sides of the family.

Yuk Chi is survived by his spouse Kwokso of Toronto, ON; His sons, Edmond (Gloria) Cheng (Charlottetown, P.E.I), Vincent (Carolynn) Cheng (Toronto, ON) and Allan Cheng (Toronto, ON); His Grandchildren (Cole and Corsen Cheng); and his nieces Donna (of Toronto, ON), Janice and Vera (of Toronto) and nephews Benjamin (of Toronto), Edward (of Toronto), and William (of Toronto).

He was loved and will be deeply missed.
