Yu Tsai Wang

December 1, 1937 -  June 7, 2020

On Sunday, June 7, 2020, Yu Tsai Wang, loving husband and father of two children passed away after a brief illness at the age of 82 years. He was born on December 1, 1937 in Kolkata, India to Ping Hua and Teh Ying (Lee) Wang. He went to boarding school in Patna, India. He was happily married on January 16, 1971 to Ai No Li until her passing on December 7, 1987. They raised a son, David I Kuo, and daughter Nancy Hsiao Yen. He remarried on January 5, 1996 to Cynthia Chun Lian Hou. After 40 years with Shaw Dental Labs, he retired as a supervisor. During retirement, he enjoyed gardening, playing the stock market, and spending time with his grandchildren, Aidan Zhong Wei , Emma Chia Ling, and Maëlle Yu Ling. He will forever be remembered by his brothers Matthew Wei Tsai (Teresa Son Ying), Peter Ying Tsai (Stella Li Fang), and Tony Hsiung Tsai (Meng Fong), and sister Marina Xing Jiao and daughter-in-law Samantha. Yu Tsai was predeceased by his sister, Chun Jiao. Yu Tsai will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his extended family and dear friends.

A virtual visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 10:15 am, followed by the virtual Funeral Service at 11:00 am.

In the short time I knew Gu-tsong, I was always struck by the air of kindness and warmth he carried with him. I feel very grateful to have met him. I offer my deepest condolences to Auntie Cynthia, Nancy and David, and am looking forward to the next time we can meet in person. Take care.
