Please join us in celebrating the life of Yu-Wing Francis (Frank) Lee on April 12 at 12:30pm (Visitation + Ceremony) at Elgin Mills Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Centres***.

At the age of 72, Frank passed away peacefully at Mackenzie Health Hospital surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Born on January 5, 1952 in China, Frank spent his childhood years with his siblings and family in Hong Kong before moving to Toronto, Canada for post secondary school.

It was here that he would meet the love of his life, April, where they would embark on a 50 year journey that took them through marriage, parenthood and grandparenthood.

Frank started his professional journey with IBM in the 1970s working in several positions within the IT and Network team. His tenure with the company would span nearly 40 years even after Celestica became its own company.

Surely his most important and loved role was being a father and grandfather. Frank dedicated much of his time, love and energy in raising his sons and spoiling his grandchildren.

With a love for food, Frank frequently enjoyed sweets with his coffees and teas and often encouraged others to share in his joy by going for ‘afternoon tea’ and ‘midnight snacks’ before his weekly mahjong games.

Frank is survived by his wife, April; children, Daniel (Alexandra) and Jonathan (Sherry) along with his grandchildren, Giuseppe, Angelina, Ethan, Logan and Chiara; mother, Chan Hing (predeceased husband Lee Kok). He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings; Heddy (Yiu), Erwin/Hong (Judy), Louisa (predeceased husband Anthony), Ben (Liza), Ivan/Shing (Yuan Wen), Georgiana (Tim), Camellia (John); along with many nieces, nephews and loved ones.
