We are saddened to announce the passing of our mother, Nana and Obachan, Yoshiye Marge Suyama on Thursday May 1, 2025, in the early morning hours of her 100th birthday.

Lovingly remembered by her children Beverley Fujimoto (late Ken), George Suyama and Linda Holub (George); grandchildren Lee-Ann Boes (Brian), Cherie Fleury (Garry) and Richard Fujimoto; great grandson Connor Boes.

Predeceased by her husband Shigeo and parents Sadajiro and Saki Akada. Also predeceased by her brothers and sisters.

A reception celebrating Marge’s life will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery on Saturday June 21, 2025, between 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm. A private family interment will take place following the reception.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre located at 6 Sakura Way, Toronto Ontario M3C 1Z5.
