Yonghui 'Gordon' Wu

January 21, 1972 -  October 7, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Yonghui (Gordon) Wu on October 7, 2023 at the age of 51. He was a loving husband to Yonghua (Clara) Bi and father of Alex and Jonny. A dedicated professional, and a devoted friend. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Please join us to say goodbye and share special memories of dear Gordon at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, 905-579-6787) on Friday, October 20, 2023, from 1 pm - 3 pm with a ceremony from 2:15pm - 3pm with a reception to follow.

My deepest condolences to the Wu family. I worked with Gordon for only a year. Will always remember Gordon. He was the one that helped me become part of the great team. He was always so supportive, and went out of his way, always helped with a smile and word of encouragement. Gordon will be greatly missed. Rest in peace my friend. Hubert.

I had the great pleasure of working and sharing a few meals with Gordon in my time with him at RBC. There is no doubt he was a kind soul with an incredible work ethic. He will be truly missed within our team we call family here at RBC. I am deeply saddened by his untimely demise, and pray fervently for his soul and the family left behind. My sympathies and prayers go out to the family. I pray He guides you forward through this loss and may you find peace in the great positive impact on all whom had the pleasure to meet him. I was so shocked and deeply sorry to hear of Gordon’s passing. Although I did not know him well, he always had a smile whenever I passed by your house and he was outside. My condolences to your family.
