In memory of

Yong-Ja Healy (nee Ro)

July 19, 1930 -  October 9, 2022

We sorrowfully announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Yong-Ja Healy on October 9, 2022 at Kensington Hospice. Yong-Ja was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Michael Thomas Healy. Loving mother of Joseph and Sophie. Adored grandmother of Michael (Sarah), Kat and Dennis (Seul Ki) and proud great-grandmother of El. Yong-Ja will be sadly missed by extended family and friends. May she rest in peace.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you for all the love, compassion and care given to Yong-Ja by Dr. Haley Draper and Dr Nadine Gebara and the wonderful and dedicated staff of the Kensington Hospice. Yong-Ja was able to spend her last weeks in a wonderful, loving and supportive environment due to all of you.

Family and friends will be received for a visitation on Friday October 21, 2022 at York Cemetery and Funeral Service Centre 168 Beecroft Rd North York, ON from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm to reminisce, grieve, support each other, and, of course, just chat. The visitation will be followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm and interment following the service.

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy donations to Kensington Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
