Ying Chong Lok was born in Taishan, China, Jan 10, 1928. Husband to Ying Ngor (d. June 22, 1982), Ying Chong passed away peacefully on July 11, 2024 at age 96 at Mt Sinai Hospital, Toronto. He immigrated from Hong Kong to Canada in 1963. He worked hard as a chef to provide for his family in our new country, but he always found time to enjoy life with family and friends. His annual Christmas dinner house party for family and many friends became a tradition.

He made tremendous personal sacrifices to take great care of his family. He never complained, never showed sadness and never displayed pain in front of his loved ones in order to keep them happy, safe and to not worry. Family was all that mattered to him. He was our hero, our role model, and his legacy will live on forever through the values he passed on to his children and to future generations.

He is survived by four sons - Si, Gar, Ming, Gary; daughter - Eva; daughter-in-laws - Yim, Amy; son-in-law - Rick; Grandchildren- Andrew, Christopher, Michael, Kaylyn, Jenna; Grand daughter-in-law - Sarrie; Great Grand children Ellie and Aria.

His warmth, generosity, hospitality and love will be sadly missed by all.

家父駱盈莊1928年1月10日生于中國廣東省台山市，與家母英娥 (1933-1982) 於1956年結為夫妻。父親2024年7月11日於多倫多西乃山醫院與世長辭，終年96歲。父親1963年從香港移民到加拿大從事中廚工作，縱然工作忙碌，他仍盡力抽空陪伴家人，融入社會並享受生活，邀請親友參加聖誕週年聚餐早已成為我家傳統節慶的重要部分。

父親為家庭打拼勞碌大半生，對家人的付出及犧牲從無怨言，工作再辛苦，只要得見家人生活安定，子女快樂成長，父親臉上總會露出滿足及燦爛的笑容，對父親而言，家庭就是他的一切。家中兄弟姊妹從小就把父親當成家中的巨人和英雄並以父親作為我們成長後的榜樣。父親的愛將永遠活於我們心中並一代一代地傳承下去。

我們將永遠地懷念父親的溫情及慈愛。
