It was with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mrs. Yin Lam, at the age of 96. She passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024.

Yin Lam was born in China, then moved and married in Hong Kong. She lived there over 30 years where she built a life full of love, kindness, and dedication to her family. In 1980 she and many family members moved to Toronto, Canada. A mother of seven, she is lovingly remembered by her surviving children, Andy, Anna, Sing, Katherine and Kitty, 13 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her late husband, Chi-Chiu Lam and two of her children, Paul and Irene.

Yin will be missed by all who knew her. Her strength, warmth, and devotion to family will never be forgotten.

A funeral service will be held at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre on Saturday, January 4th, 2025 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, ON M4T 2V8.
