The Szeto family is saddened to announce the loss of Yen Ying (司徒譚銀影) who passed away unexpectedly on January 27, 2022 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife to King (司徒景枝) who predeceased her by 43 years. Proud mother to Ming Pak (his wife Foun-Lee), Ming Fai, Selina (her husband Andy), Ming Sum (his wife Candy), Ming Kwong (his wife Grace) and Ming Wai (his wife Iris). Adored grandmother to Yi-Yi, Kai (his wife Tania), Anson (his wife Yvonne), Jeremy (his wife Carman), Tony (his wife Nicole), Vanessa (her husband Joel), Kevin, Gordon, Simon and Sammi. Yen Ying will also be missed by her many great grandchildren Victor, Yana, Penelope, Chelsea,, August, Alfie, Bennett, and Caroline,,

After being widowed at a young age, she played the role of mother and father. Despite these struggles, she always provided loving care and warm home for her children. She was an exceptional mother. She was the central figure in the lives of her children. She cared deeply for her family and friends. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was.

A visitation in Yen Ying’s memory will be on Sunday, February 13th from 9:00 -10:30 am at York Funeral Centre. A Funeral Service will follow at 10:30 and an interment will take place at York Cemetery (Section 30). Due to COVID 19, we recommend confirming your attendance with the family prior to the event.
