In memory of

Yenkersammy Raghunandan

January 10, 1935 -  April 28, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Yenkersammy “Victor” Raghunandan, who departed this life at the age of 90.

Victor was born on January 10th, 1935, in Whim Village, Corentyne Berbice, Guyana. He was the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Raghunandan Atchana of Whim Village and Johanna, Black Bush Polder.

A man of strong hands and an even stronger heart, Victor was a skilled carpenter by trade, known for his craftsmanship, work ethic, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.

Devoted husband of Mavis, and a loving father to the late Sheila, Pamela, Patricia, Leon, Veronica, Diana, Alvin, and Vibert. His legacy lives on through his 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, each of whom carry a part of his spirit forward.

He will be fondly remembered for his quiet strength, his generosity, and the love he gave freely to all who knew him. Victor’s presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
