Our beloved father, Yat Fan Chan passed away peacefully the morning of November 7, 2016 at 90 years old while at Bridgepoint Health Hospital, Toronto, Ontario. Fondly remembered by surviving spouse of 49 years Ming Yuet, daughter Sook-Fun, sons Kevin W.G., Alex W.Y., son-in law Raymond, daughters-in law Grace and Dawn. Proud and wonderful grandsons Ethan, Brian, granddaughters Adrienne, Arlene.

Resting at York Cemetery & Funeral Centre,160 Beecroft, Toronto, ON, CANADA, M2N 5Z5.
Memorial service on Friday November 11, 2016 morning.

Visitation: 9:00 am to 10:00 am
Service: 10:00 am
Burial: 11:15 am

One of dad's greatest trait was to not give up, keep at it. When I was 10 years old, dad taught me persistence and resilience. After many failed attempts due to poor co-ordination and balance I was successful in riding a bike.
Same with driving a car. He stated, "One may not live in downtown Toronto always. Better learn and develop driving skills. " Got my drivers's license even though I was terrified.
