In memory of

何李欣頌師母 Yan Tsang Hoh

July 22, 1931 -  January 30, 2019

Went suddenly but peacefully to be with our Heavenly Father in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Rev. C. C. Hoh. Loving mother of Esther (Felix), Sam, Lydia (Jeffrey) and Tim. Dear Poh Poh of Derek, Caroline, Sarah and Thomas.

Mrs. Hoh dedicated her life to serve God. She graduated from the Alliance Bible Seminary in 1951. After local mission work in Hong Kong, she travelled with her husband to the Philippines in 1956 to do church planting work. In 1967, the family returned to Hong Kong to await their next calling. It was in 1968 that the family arrived in Toronto to serve at Chinese Gospel Church. Subsequently, they served at Detroit Chinese Alliance Church in 1979 and then at the Chinese Presbyterian Church in Toronto from 1981 to 1985. In her retirement, she ministered by songs, stories and testimonials across Canada, US and other parts of the world to continue to spread the Gospel.

She was a faithful servant of God, a captivating preacher, a Bible teacher and counsellor, a devoted wife and mother, an avid swimmer, loved to sing and play hymns, enjoyed gardening, cooking and always full of laughter.
