Yan Chak "Chuck" Fong 方仁策

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Yan Chak Fong on March 6, 2024.

Yan Chak Fong is survived by his spouse Yin Ching Fong nee (Shek) and his two children Winston and Sula Fong and son-in-law Steve Ouellette.
Also known as "Chuck", he operated a restaurant for more than ten years in a small town of Tilbury, Ontario.

Born in Guangdong, China, Chuck immigrated to Canada in 1972 and worked as a chef at various restaurants through his lifetime to support his family in China and wife and kids.
He will be forever remembered for his generosity, his kindness to friends and strangers alike through the gift of food. Generous, funny, and vibrant is what many remembered him to be.

Yan Chak Fong will be greatly missed by family and friends.

If you wish to pay your respects to the family, we welcome you to attend his visitation service this Saturday March 23, 2024 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, (private cremation witnessing with immediate and close family at 3:00pm).

Yan Chak Fong "Chuck" valued family as the utmost important aspect in life. He would want friends and family to rejoice and gather, please join us at dinner with friends and family who knew Chuck at 5:30 pm at Congee Queen.

Thank you Fong family for always being so generous in your hospitality and welcoming friends and guests alike into your homes or for a meal out. Mr. Fong was always so friendly and greeted us all with smiles and open arms. He will be greatly missed.
