陳林笑雲女士於一九四二年四月八日出生在廣東台山。
二零一六年九月十一日，陳林笑雲女士於多倫多Providence療養院安詳地與世長辭，享年七十四歲。為了寄託哀思，其家人將於九月二十四日十時舉行追悼會，望陳林笑雲女士生前親朋戚友屆時參加。
她傾其一生於照顧家人，將孫子孫女養育成人。

Xiao Yun Lin passed away at the age of 74 on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at Providence Healthcare.
She is survived by her loving husband Qi An Chen; younger brother and sister. She will always be cherished and loved by her three children Yong Nian Chen and his wife, Jie Zhen Chen and her husband Hsin Chun Huang, Miao Zhen Chen and her husband Ding Wei Situ; her 5 grandchildren Jacky Chen, Jennifer Huang, Justin Huang, Andrew Situ, Anna Situ; and the rest of her relatives and friends.

Her interests included family, gardening, sewing and reading magazine. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members. After one year of battle with cancer she passed away peacefully with her family by the side. Her family would like to thank Sunnybrook’s support and encouragement.
