Neil James Wyllie passed away on May 7th, 2022 of complications due to Parkinson’s disease. Neil was 90 years old. He leaves his godson, Justin Ashley, Toronto, ON; six cousins, Elspeth Finch, Burlington ON, Marge Naftali and Pat Buckley, Vancouver BC, Gavin Wyllie, Montreal QC, Heather Biver, Saltspring Island, BC and Eleanor McDougall, Glasgow, Scotland, and several devoted friends including Ru Lan Wang, Jack Wang, Charles Goldsmith and Andre Subekti.

Neil was born and raised in Scotland and in the Montreal area during the Second World War. After Neil returned to Canada in the early fifties, he lived in Toronto. He retired as Vice-president and Chief Financial Officer at Lipton’s Canada, following which he managed his own finances and those of several others. He owned several properties in Muskoka over the years, including a cottage on Lake Rosseau. He maintained his interest in real estate and enjoyed investing in unique opportunities. Neil had a passion for corporate finance and followed the market closely and was always interested in politics and world events.

There will be a service in his memory at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre- 375 Mount Pleasant Road on Friday, June 10th from 2-4pm.
