In memory of

Wolfgang Srenk

August 19, 1949 -  July 17, 2020

Wolfgang Heinz Srenk

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Wolfgang Srenk at the age of 70. A loving husband, father, brother, and friend, he was taken too soon. Wolfgang will be sorely missed by his wife of 26 years, Melanie; children, William, Cayla, and Jacob; daughter- and son-in-law, Kathryn and Robert; grandchildren Nicolas, Charlotte, and Malik; his sister and brother-in-law Esther and Gary; his nephews and great-nieces and -nephews; and many others. Wolfgang immigrated to Canada from Germany as a young child with his family. As an ambitious person, he became a hardworking entrepreneur and skilled carpenter who was committed to his family. He raised his best friend and son, William, on his own from an early age. Wolfgang and William shared a love for baseball, playing catch, going to the batting cages, and collecting cards. When he met Melanie, he treated her children, Jacob and Cayla, as his own. Wolfgang started many businesses, the latest was one he ran with William over the last 20 years. He was also a mischievous and adventurous spirit who loved riding motorcycles. He believed in treating everyone with respect, and always encouraged others to do the same.

Wolfie,
You were a great businessman, father and most of all a friend to me.
I've known you for 20 years and I can honestly say that I didn't view you as a business associate, I saw you as a great friend with wisdom and perspective way beyond my years.
There are very few people we meet in this journey called life that we can say had an impact on us. Wolfie, you were one of those people who had a huge impact in my life. It's been a pleasure to have known you and I believe because of this I am a better person for that.
Don't worry for Billy, you have raised him to be a strong, intelligent and independent man who will always be success in his life both personally and professionally.
Rest in peace my friend...until that day when we meet again.
