Willy Kohler

Willy passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on March 2, 2017 at the age of 87 years. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Renate of 60 years. He was the dear father of Bernie (wife Lynda) and Derek (wife Grace) and Opa to Ryan, Bradley, Markus, Katelyn and Carolyn. Brother to and predeceased by Zenta (and her husband Markus) and Onkel to nieces Lissi and Renate with families in Germany. In addition, Onkel (through wife Renate) to Renate (husband Doug) Sharkey, Alfred (wife Randa) Vogel and Barbara (husband Mike) Vogel in British Columbia.

A memorial service to commemorate Willy's life will be held on March 9, 2017 beginning with the visitation at 10 am and service at 11 am at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (ph. 416-267-8229). In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
