William John Sarkisian

September 9, 1941 -  December 25, 2020

It is with sadness, the family of William John Sarkisian (aka Sarky/Bill) announce his passing December 25, 2020, after a short battle with liver cancer. Born September 9, 1941 to the late Gerard Sarkisian and the late Verna Mae Lehman. Bill is survived by his daughter Susanne (Bartczak), his son John, his brother Peter (aka Dale), his grand children Steven (Bartczak) and Daryl (Bartczak), his cousins Daryl, Jack, Cheryl, Jason and Tanya and many more. Cremated remains will rest at his home until services. Due to covid, services are postponed until internment in Durham Ontario, West Grey Region. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Sarky was a friend to us when we first affixed in Canada ,spent many days at his home in Etobicoke,he was the first person brave enough to Let me drive his truck ,so I got my first driving lesson from him ,was glad to have known him ,he will be missed

John, I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. I remember him from the good ol' days in the neighbourhood -- always tinkering in the garage. Sending my deepest condolences to you and your family. Rest in Peace Mr. S.

Susanne, John,Steven and Daryl I am sorry for your loss. While it is hard to say good bye sometimes it is also a blessing! Hold on to all of your memories and take comfort in knowing that he is in a much better place now without the pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
