In memory of

William Relford Mathias Farley

May 21, 1944 -  December 9, 2021

WILLIAM RELFORD MATHIAS FARLEY hails from a family of 11 siblings: Seville (deceased), Claudette, Alec, Annie, Duncanan, the twins Jennette and John, Sylvia, Grace and Hilary. In addition to his siblings, Bill leaves behind his daughter, Sherri deMontmorency and confidant and estranged wife, Sheila Farley.

Bill’s infectious smile, jovial personality and caring nature were well known by all. From playing the family Santa Claus to his siblings to becoming Head of House Prefect for ‘K’ House at Queen’s College and undertaking a career as a Civil Engineer, Bill had a wide variety of interests and pursued them all with passion. He was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church as well as the Queen’s College of Guyana Alumni Association.

After a steady progressive decline in health, Bill was called by his ever-loving Maker on Thursday 9th December, 2021 to a new life beyond. May his soul rest in peace. To God be the glory!

The Farley families wish to thank all relatives, friends and acquaintances for their thoughtful support and prayers in this our time of bereavement.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Lutheran Church, 14 Centre Street, Toronto or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Due to COVID-19 constraints, there will be a closed visitation and funeral service. A live stream of the funeral can be viewed at www.hopetoronto.com on Monday, December 20th at 11am.

Please accept deepest sympathies on Bill's passing. While our period of acquaintance was relatively short, I found him to be truly kind, thoughtful and sincere in his work for the Queen's College Alumni Association - Toronto. His dedication and enthusiasm will remain inspirational to me as a younger Alumnus. May his soul find everlasting peace, and may his loved ones have abundant strength in these difficult circumstances.

With sympathy,
Roger Sawh (and family)

Had the pleasure of meeting Bill through our involvement in the many activities of our Alumni Association at which he was always a willing participant and could be depended on to give his whole hearted support. Bill's " laid back " style when offering his comments at our meetings was always appreciated as were his suggestions regarding what course of action should be taken in any particular situation.
My sincere condolences to his family. Their many happy memories of time spent with him will be a source of comfort in the days ahead. May his soul rest in peace.
