William Mark Shay

August 2, 1952 - February 17, 2021

"Those we love can never be more than a thought away, for as long as we have our memories they will live on forever in our hearts."

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness to share that Mark passed away at Scarborough Centenary Hospital on Wednesday February 17th, 2021 with his wife and sons by his side.

Mark lived his life on his own terms and enjoyed every minute of it. He will be greatly missed by his wife Angie of 46 years, sons Billy (Jilaine) and Jamie (Maya), grandchildren Desmond and Penelope, siblings Donna, Pat (Bill), Mike, Marcia, Holly, Paul (Leslie) and Mary (Ben) and his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Dear Angie et al
We were shocked to hear the news of Mark's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this terrible moment. Our years together as fast friends go back to when we were in our teens and 20's. So long ago but the memories of fun we had are still sharp in our mind.
I am so glad Mark was a part of my life.
So many of my old friends often ask me of Mark when we talk of old times.
I will pass on the news to those I can.
