William Francis DeLisle
1933-2019

It is with great sadness we announce that William (Bill) Francis DeLisle passed away at the Scarborough General Hospital, on March 5, 2019 at the age of 85. Loving Father to Anna Marie (Martin), Harold (Taili), Michael (Margo) and Laura. Proud grampie to Jade. Wonderful husband to Althea for 53 years, who passed away in August 2009.
Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Louise DeLisle. Dear brother of the late Marg and Jack Hopkins, the late Teresa and Harold Write, the late Joan and Roy Plant, the late Pat Oakley (Murry), the late Helen Chase, Marylou Simmons (the Late Ron), Judy Hunt (Ron), Donna Cobb (Will), the late Chuck Cobb, John DeLisle (Jan), Starr Bowler (John Joe), the late Gail Kisilewick (Eddy). Will be missed by all his many nieces and nephews and close buddies, John Burns (Muriel) and Mike Wadsworth (Sandy).

Bill enjoyed a 34 year career with Orange Crush Canada as a district manager, a job he always spoke so proudly of. Bill was a faithful fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, never missing a game on television. In retirement years, Bill enjoyed spending time on his patio at 99 Spruce Hill, watching naming and feeding many birds, both big and small. He also enjoyed spending time playing the slots at the casinos, people watching at Eglinton Square, annual fishing weekends at the cottage, coffee with close friends, and especially spending family time with his children and grandson.

A memorial/celebration of life will be held in the chapel at the Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd. Scarborough. North of St. Clair Ave. (416-267-8229) on Monday March 18 2019. Visitation at 10am, followed by a service and reception
