William David Payne

December 31, 1943 - May 28, 2019

Passed away unexpectedly at home on the 28th of May, 2019 at the age of 75.
Beloved husband of Linda Raslawski, predeceased in 1997. Loving son Kay and Jim Payne, dear brother of Doug (Karen Pritchard) all of whom also predeceased him. Missed by family: nephews Michael, Sam, niece Elizabeth, brother-in-law Sonny Raslawski and his wife and son. Many friends will also miss Dave.
Dave was a quiet, highly intelligent and kind person, always willing to help others. His favourite sport was tennis which he played up to the week before his death.
A Celebration of Life will follow on Thursday, 27th of June at the Simple Alternative, 275 Lesmill Rd., Toronto at 11a.m.

We are so sorry that we will be away in Montreal on June 27th and that we will miss Dave's Celebration of Life. Dave will always be remembered as a great neighbour and friend who was there to lend a hand when needed. We truly believe that Dave was a "steward" of Lennox Mews and showed strong leadership during his time as Board President. Dave was such a knowledgeable guy who researched condo issues in depth and looked out for all of us. We've all lost a great neighbour! Dave - I'll miss our catch up coffee dates.
