William (Bill) Chu, born on July 12, 1927, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Dorothy Ley Hospice. His passing marks the end of a life filled with love, dedication, and countless cherished memories. Bill was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Betty Pik-Chi Chu, who is the stepmother of his cherished sons, Brian and Stanley. He is also survived by Brian and his wife Francine and Stanley and his wife Olia. Bill was blessed with his grandchildren Amanda (Dan and their children Madeleine and Henry), Katie (Mark and their children Avery and Harper), Lianne and Ryan. Bill was pre-deceased by Nellie (in 1969), mother of Brian and Stanley.

Bill was a modest and quiet spoken man and his gentle demeanor earned him the respect of all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Dorothy Ley Hospice, where Bill spent his final days in comfort and peace. This gesture will not only honour Bill's memory but also support a cause that provided him with care and dignity in his final moments.

Rest in peace, Bill Chu. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
