William "Bill" Shedden

May 5, 1935 - May 4, 2024

Passed away on May 4, 2024, at Centenary Hospital, surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Martha Marie Shedden (née Boudreau), who predeceased him in 2018. Bill, known for his feisty spirit, was a dedicated father to Lisa (Howard, d. 2000) and Jim, and father-in-law to Shellie Thomas. Predeceased by his daughter, Heather MacIntosh. Bill's spirited nature brought color to his role as a husband, father, and grandfather to Katie (Aaron), Andrew (Dana), Taylor (Justin), Amy (JF), Lily, Meredith, and Hunter, and great-grandfather to Soren, Anna, Brooks, Monroe, Declan, and Lachlan. Bill was a retired Scarborough Firefighter and proudly served in the Royal Canadian Navy. Join us to honour and celebrate Bill's life at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, on Friday, May 10, 12noon-2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Scarborough Health Network Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Rest in peace, Bill.

I’m sending my heartfelt condolences to Lisa, Jim and family for the loss of their beloved Dad Bill.
Bill was my Dad’s childhood friend (Bob Irvine) and Bill and Martha remained close friends with my Mom, Eleanor and Dad.
Bill had such a dry sense of humour, and nothing meant more to Bill and Martha than their family.
His legacy will live on in his beautiful family.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
