In memory of

Wieslaw Borysewicz

June 12, 1953 -  January 24, 2025

Wieslaw (Tony) Borysewicz passed away suddenly on January 24, 2025, at the age of 71.

Beloved husband of Elzbieta, devoted father of Karolina (Mark), and cherished brother of Elzbieta and Marek (Kasia). He will be deeply missed by his nephews, nieces, extended family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues.

Born in Motylewo, Poland, Tony grew up in Bydgoszcz. A skilled bricklayer, he traveled the world for work to support his family, working in Russia, Germany, and Iraq. He emigrated to Canada in 1991 with his daughter to be reunited with his wife. In Canada, Tony worked as a flexo printer at Malpack Ltd. for over 20 years and most recently as a Pit Coach at Amazon for the past two years.

Tony was a man of many talents and passions. An accomplished cook, he loved to barbecue and create memorable meals for his family and friends. He was an avid fisherman, finding joy in the tranquility of the water. A passionate guitarist, his music brought joy and comfort to those around him, experimenting with the unique sounds created by his extensive collection of foot pedals.

A sports enthusiast, Tony loved soccer, hockey, golf, and especially tennis, a subject he could discuss endlessly. Resourceful and self-sufficient, he approached every challenge with a "can-do" attitude, from fixing computers and tackling household projects to even performing bodywork on his cars.

Known for his dry sense of humor and unique perspective, Tony was a lifelong learner, curious about the world and embracing each day with a spirit of adventure and independence. He loved meeting new people and learning about their likes, dislikes, and backgrounds. He never judged you, accepted you for who you are, and was always ready for a debate. He will be remembered for his warmth, wit, and unwavering individuality.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tony's memory to LUNG CANCER CANADA at https://lungcancercanada.ca/?Donate-Now.aspx

There is so much will miss about my friend’s beautiful husband, Tony. I will miss Elizabeth’s stories about Tony, their love reflected in her words. I will miss his homemade sausages and pickles. And I will especially miss and never forget Tony’s hugs whenever I entered their home.
My love and sympathy to my friend, Elizabeth
