In memory of

Werner Fink

September 22, 1934 -  September 18, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Werner Fink on September 18th, just shy of his
86th Birthday, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s for many years. Beloved husband of Berta of 65 years, loving father of Monica (Mike), and Erwin (Wendy).

Dearest Opa to Lisa (Dave), Denise (Anthony), Danny, Lindsay, Amanda, and Shawn. Great grandfather to Rebekah, Samuel, Joseph, Gabriel, Sarah, Hannah, Wyatt and Reese.

Werner was born on September 22, 1934, in former Czechoslovakia, and immigrated to Canada from Germany in 1954, at the age of 20. In 1955 he married his “Princess” Berta. A hard working plumber for nearly 40 years, he loved spending time with his family, and treasured many wonderful years at his cottage on beautiful Georgian Bay. He will remain in our hearts and prayers forever.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the wonderful staff at Wesburn Manor for the care and compassion they showed to Werner, during his time in their care.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. Rest in peace.

The family welcomes relatives and friends to attend the Mass of Christian Burial which will take place on September 23rd at 10am at St. Clement’s Church – 409 Markland Drive, Etobicoke. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation and interment will take place . Please note that those attending the Funeral Mass are asked to arrive by 9:30 am in order to allow time to be individually seated before 10:00 am.”. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations in memory of Werner to Campaign Life Coalition.
