Wendy Gail Glover nee. Hughson (September 26,1950- November 12, 2024) slipped away in the evening surrounded by family and friends after living with HLH for a brief period. She is survived by Frank her loving husband of 54 years. She will be forever missed by her children Danielle (Derek), James (Mary), Jeanette (Jonathan), Jason (Amanda), Charles (Shakira), Jeffery (Monique), Peter, Jasmine, John (Leah), Joanna, Josh, Jeremy, Tabitha, Josiah, Jesse, Justin, Caleb (Jasmine) and Joel; she was a devoted grandma to 46 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her cherished extended family. Wendy’s described by family, friends and co-workers as loving, caring, fun, energetic, wise, loyal and most of all zealous for God. Wendy’s sense of adventure and heart for God led her to adopt 16 children to complete her family. Her creativity helped her to inspire many children who had the pleasure of attending her daycare room. She was a strong leader in her church a built community wherever she went. She will be dearly missed by all those who loved her.

Condolence messages and memorial donations may be conveyed through this memorial page. If so desired, flowers may be sent directly to Trinity Pentecostal Church, 900 King Street East, Oshawa, on Saturday, November 23 after 9:30 am and memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
