In memory of

Wendy Ellen Ewstratin

August 23, 1961 -  September 2, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of Wendy Ellen Ewstratin (nee Pappas) announce her sudden passing on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023, in her 63rd year. Wendy was a strong, tenacious, giving and outgoing woman who loved to laugh and meet new people. She loved with an open heart and always found a reason to stay positive.

Her greatest joy was being Gma to her grandson Macklin. Devoted mom to Tori Hobbs (Max) and Tyson Ewstratin. Loving daughter of Lois Pappas and the late George Pappas. Dear sister to Peter Pappas and Kim Marycz (Joe). Wendy will be greatly missed and remembered fondly by her former husband, Vic Ewstratin along with many friends and family.

At Wendy’s request, a cremation has taken place. We welcome all friends and family to join us for a celebration of Wendy’s life at Smash Kitchen & Bar, 75 Consumers Drive, Whitby, on Sunday, September 17th, 2023 from 12pm - 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for toy donations to be made in support of your local toy drive during the upcoming holiday season.

I met Wendy 35 years ago in general motors we became good friends and friends ever since. She's going to be terribly missed by a lot of people and her smile and her bubbliness. I miss you Wendy.
