Feel surprised to hear my aunty passed away. My aunty was a very generous lady. I still remember in December 1993, I just immigrated into Canada. My aunty gave me two hundred dollars when I met her. Two hundred dollars of that time had the purchasing power of current day’s $600-$800 or even higher. At that time, the minimum wage was $6/hour. I know my aunty was not doing a highly paid job. But she generously gave me a big chunk of her money. I will forever keep the treasurable memories of my aunty. She is my role model.
