In memory of

Wayne Jordan

May 2, 1943 -  August 31, 2023

Wayne passed away peacefully on August 31, 2023, surrounded by family, at the age of 80, after his courageous battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife Margaret, to whom he was married for 58 years – the love of his life. He was an amazing father to his two children Steve (Cindy) and Rick (Kitty) and was a grandfather to Kody (Crystal), Mackenzie and Jake, and a great-grandfather to Grayson and Paisley.

Wayne was born on May 2, 1943, in Montreal, Quebec to his late parents Samuel and Lillian Jordan. His professional career spanned over four decades with RCA Records/BMG Music where he made many lifelong friends, whom he would call his “extended” work family. You could say he worked his dream job.

He had many great passions in life: including music, his Rock-Ola Juke box, his vintage pinball machines, his beloved record collection, and his love for Elvis, country music, and the good ol’ ‘oldies’ from the 50’s 60’s, as well as his love for the Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays.

He loved spending time in Florida (their second home) and always lived life to the fullest. For those that knew Wayne, he had a funny, witty, and unique sense of humour. All will remember Wayne as an incredibly giving, kind and understanding individual who would give you the shirt off his back. Many have shared stories of his kindness, (he was just that kind of person) and an amazing role model to all. He always had a strong passion for caring for others and his family being the most important to him.

Wayne provided us all with a true gift of unconditional love and will always be remembered. He will be greatly missed by family and friends, and he’ll be forever in our hearts. Missing you more than words can say.

May you rest in peace…Love you!

Wayne was an amazing man. He made me laugh and. Smile every time I seen him.
He had the energy of a kid and the most amazing smile. He welcomed me into his home and heart and I will forever remember how wonderful he was. You will truly be missed. Until we meet again R.I.P Wayne.

The time has come for you to fly away.
And as you Soar across the sky, it is no longer Gray. You made me feel. Safe and sheltered from the wind. I will always remember that happy and loving grin. You let me in your heart and loved me like your own. You are and will always be the best. Father-in-law I've ever known. And as my heartbreaks and tears run down my face.
I know you are now at peace and will always be safe. Your heart and memory will carry on. And the love I have for you in my heart will always be strong. No, spread your wings and fly high. Until the day we meet again. When I get the honor to say hi. Forever in my heart and always on my mind. For the love that you gave me, what's really one of a kind
Gone but never forgotten R.I.P Wayne (DAD) LOVE ALWAY CINDY 😇🙏❤️

My Grandpa didn’t teach me how to live. He lived, and he always lived life to the fullest. From his funny, witty, and unique sense of humour, to his crazy work ethic, to his big round belly I used to curl up on when I was little. I will cherish every memory I have with him, whether it be sitting on the couch watching his favourite team play eating cookies that Grams and I made, to his incredible bbq skills. (his ribs and caesar dressing are *chef kiss* immaculate.)He was the reason to why I got into cooking in the first place.

He always pushed me to better myself and pushed me to better my future. We may of not always seen eye to eye, but we always saw heart to heart.

I’m so sorry that goodbye was too soon and that I couldn’t say goodbye in person. You will always have a special place in my heart, you fought courageously for years & will be missed by everyone. Rest in paradise, Gramps.

I love you.
