In memory of

Wayne Edward Hull

April 25, 1957 -  July 5, 2022

Afterglow

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done,
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times
and bright and summer days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve,
to dry before the sun,
Of happy memories that I leave
When life is done.

I will always remember Wayne when he was younger and spent many weekends with us when we first moved to Steady Brook , and also the visits we had each time he returned home from Toronto. We know that he has taken his final journey and gone to his eternal resting place . We will miss you Wayne, but will never forget you. One day we will meet again in that Heavenly Home, and be joined with other members of the family and other relatives.

The Ballard of Wayne Hull

He was always there smiling, waiting to give you a poke.
Always there to listen, or to tell you a joke.
There on dock B living on his boat, he was happy there. Always in his squatters pose, he never really needed a chair.
After work at the back of his boat, you'd spot him and Brenda,
Coors light and red wine in their hand, appears to be the agenda.
Whether down at the pool hall with Izzy and Lonnie,
He always had a smile whenever he saw me.
He was an angel when my cat, Buddy needed tending.
He showed me his heart, while Buddy he was befriending.
Very funny stories we're all gonna miss,
Even tequila parties, with Petey and Chris.
Crazy eights and rummy on mark's MK47
All of these memories he will cherish in heaven,
Wayne Hull, a friend, was a "Hull" of a guy.
He now looks down on us, from that beautiful blue sky.
