Waveney Passed away surrounded by the love of her family on August 30, 2021 in Oshawa. Loving wife of Kenneth (deceased). Devoted mother of Patrick, Ingrid, Neville, Donna, Keith, Kevin and the late Andrew. Cherished grandmother of nine and great grandmother of six. Survived by her sisters Thelma, Elenia, Lily, Rita and Bev, and brothers William and Michael.

Waveney loved her family very much, and loved spending as much time as possible with everyone. She prepared favourite dishes, sweets and drinks based on traditional Guyanese recipes that everyone truly enjoyed. One of the most important things in her life was her faith, and she maintained it steadfastly throughout her entire life.

As sister-in-law to Kevin and Marilyn for over 18 years, the joy of having met, spent time, laughs, smiles and hugs with Mrs. Andries was truly a joy. Her Mauby was by far the best! Her genuine sweetness and welcoming nature will be remembered and cherished by many. I am blessed to have been introduced to her and Mr. Andries so long ago. Condolences from Len, Nikki, Vikki, Mikey, Deveney and Danszel.

Our mother taught us how to love by loving us unconditionally. She was a great influence in our lives. She was a devoted mother that loved not only her immediate family but her friends, as Iā€™m sure the can testify to.

She will be missed, there will always be a vacant space in our hearts but with the hope we have we are confident we will she her again.

I love you
