In memory of

Warren Kyle Yeh

October 18, 1987 -  February 24, 2024

Hello, everyone.

We gather here to honor the life of Warren Kyle Yeh.
Warren was a beloved husband, son, brother, and friend, who departed from this world on February 24, 2024, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 36, and passed away in the comfort of his home in Pickering, Ontario, at approximately 10 a.m.

Born on October 18, 1987, in Karachi, Pakistan, Warren was the cherished son of Rita and George Yeh. He shared his childhood with his older brother, Gavin Yeh, forming a bond that lasted a lifetime. He pursued his education at Metropolitan University (Ryerson) and embarked on his professional journey with passion. His career path led him through various roles, including memorable stints at Canadian Tire, Sunnybrook Hospital, and SickKids Hospital, where he made enduring friendships and contributed significantly as a Lab Technician, in the healthcare industry.

Warren epitomized loyalty, trustworthiness, and selflessness, consistently prioritizing others above himself. Beyond his professional commitments, he delighted in life's simple pleasures and shared interests. He had a profound love for basketball, relished the vibrant energy of casinos, and discovered a talent for crafting custom shirts, which became a cherished hobby.

In 2010, Warren found his soulmate in Joyce Ho-Yeh, with whom he built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Together, they were a source of strength and support for each other through every triumph and challenge. His legacy of love encompasses his cherished family, comprising his devoted parents, his adoring brother, and brother-in-law James Ho, along with in-laws Yuanny and Kevin Ho. He also leaves behind countless relatives, friends, and colleagues whose lives he touched with his kindness and warmth.

A funeral service to honor Warren's life will be held at York Cemetery and Funeral Centre on Friday, March 1. Visitation will be held between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., and funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. and continue until 11:30 a.m., which will be followed by the burial. To conclude, the family extends an invitation to all attendees to join them for lunch at Dragon Legend, located at 25 Lanark Rd, Markham, following the burial service, which will begin at approximately 1:00pm.

Though Warren's physical presence may be gone, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his infectious laughter, compassionate soul, and unwavering love for those around him. May he rest in eternal peace.

I am in deep shock to hear the passing of a dear coworker. I helped to hired Warren in his on-boarding process and it sadden my heart to hear of him transitioning so soon. I pray for his family and God will give them strength to go through this time. I know what it is like to loose a love one. It’s not easy.

I’ve been blessed and honored to have known you Warren for the majority of my life. Having built many friendships over my life Warren, you will forever be one of my first true friends. Fact is Warren you are one of my most favorite people I will have ever come to know and forever be grateful of the friendship I have built with you.
During our time at Canadian Tire, Warren and I would have many debates, discussions and fun talking about a large variety of topics such as basketball, superheroes, science, comics, and much more.
Warren, you were built differently; you are pure, kind hearted and always gave a helping hand no matter what.
No matter the struggles I’ve endured in life, the joy, memories and fun I’ve had with all those I’ve worked with at Canadian Tire has molded me in to the person I am today. Warren, you have been one of the biggest influences of my life and your influence has given me all the ambition and motivation to be as successful as I can possibly be.
We really had some amazing times, playing basketball, comic book talk, fan expo, lunches, dinners, auto show, Christmas parties, all those car rides home, the guidance you’ve given me and the trust you’ve given me every time you’d asked me to fix your car even though I was a young arrogant tech still learning the trade.
I will forever miss you and never forget you. Thank you for being you
