In Loving Memory of Wanda Malczewski

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Wanda Malczewski on August 2, 2023, at the age of 60, at Credit Valley Hospital. Wanda, originally from Poland, made Canada her home in 1987, bringing with her a spirit of resilience and warmth.

Born to Irene and Wladyslaw Jakubowicz, Wanda was a cherished daughter and a loving sister to Piotrek and Halina, a beacon of strength for her family. She shared her life with her loving husband Ryszard Malczewski, and together they navigated life's journey with its joys and challenges. Wanda's love extended to her children, Julia and Patryk Malczewski, as well as her grand daughter Penelope and daughter in law Patricia who held a special place in her heart.

Wanda's radiant personality left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her battles with scleroderma for nearly two decades never dampened her enthusiasm for life. Despite physical limitations, her humor and positivity remained unwavering. Wanda possessed a remarkable mental fortitude and unwavering spiritual strength that allowed her to face challenges with a smile.

Known for her ability to forge deep and lasting friendships, Wanda was a pillar of support for those around her. She cherished the moments when family and friends gathered, even in the midst of her own pain. Wanda's selflessness knew no bounds, always prioritizing others' needs above her own. Her legacy of kindness and generosity will forever inspire those who were fortunate to have known her.

As we bid farewell to Wanda, a private cremation will be held on Saturday. Though she has left this world, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Wanda Malczewski will be profoundly missed and forever cherished.
