We are saddened by the passing of Wan Yuk Ching 程宏珏 at the age of 91. He had been bravely fighting prostate and skin cancer, but during his final weeks in the hospital, his weakened immune system made it even harder as he also began battling throat cancer. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who lived a life full of hard work and creativity. A dedicated provider, he worked tirelessly in his younger years to support his wife and three children, ensuring they were always taken care of.
An architect by profession, he brought an engineer’s precision and an artist’s soul to everything he did. Whether designing buildings, fixing things around the house, or shaping his beautiful gardens, he infused every project with care and creativity. His passion for traditional Chinese art was reflected in his elegant watercolor paintings.
He also found great joy in the kitchen, often preparing elaborate meals and festive feasts that brought his family together. Cooking was one of the many ways he expressed his love, and those shared moments around the table will be cherished forever.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but the delicious meals he lovingly prepared will live on in our hearts and memories.
