In memory of

Wan Ying Kwun

September 22, 1970 -  July 6, 2024

As she quietly, and bravely fought to keep the cancer at bay for the past 10+ years, she continued to fill her life with big and small joys. She trotted across different parts of the world, by land and by sea, embraced veganism with particular enthusiasm (to the chagrin of some of the carnivorous Kwuns), took on the challenges and rewards of a new career, became mom to a somewhat rambunctious yellow lab and continued to tirelessly support and care for her family and friends, even on days when she didn’t quite have the energy.

Her daughter, husband, father, sisters, sister-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and amazing posse of friends will miss her immeasurably – the quirky sense of humour, self-deprecating manner, humble kindness, unwavering loyalty, constant generosity and innate compassion will always be remembered as hallmarks of her person and her spirit.

Please join our family in celebrating Wan Ying’s life.
