In memory of

Wai Yep Wong 黄偉業先生

December 17, 1933 -  July 27, 2023

Wai Yep Wong was born in HoiPing Guangdong, China on December 17, 1933. He was the eldest of five children of Kan Wong and Kay Hor Woo. He was 89 years old when he passed away. He is survived by his two children, their spouses, three grandchildren and their significant others.

He was a dedicated and kind-hearted family man. He worked multiple jobs to take care of the family when the family was young. He was a handyman, and took care of the repairs around the house. He enjoyed cooking and gardening. His family loved the meals that he prepared. He shared the vegetables and melons that he harvested from his vegetable garden every year with his family and friends.

Wai Yep took early retirement to help look after his grandchildren when they were young. He was especially proud that all of his children and grandchildren graduated from universities, and were successful in their careers. His grandchildren loved their grandpa, and called him "gung gung" or "yeh yeh".

With God's grace, he went home to God and his wife peacefully and suffered no more pain on earth. Wai Yep will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to be made to Hennick BridgePoint Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital, Michael Garron Hospital, Kidney Foundation, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or Toronto Christian Community Church.

Dear Sophy and family,

May their legacy be a source of inspiration and strength, and remember that in memory’s garden, time will never change the beauty of their presence.
