On Monday, July 22, 2019, Kwan Wai Hung, loving husband and father of three sons, passed away at the age of 71 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Kwan Wai Hung was born on May 10, 1948 in Hong Kong, to father, Kwan Sze Yan and mother, Tsang Woon Kit. He was a beloved husband, father, and loyal friend to many who were fortunate enough to have known him. On May 25, 1983, he married his beautiful wife, Christina Leung Loi Hoo. Together, they raised diligently three sons, Eric, James and Jack.

Never did Kwan Wai Hung let his health condition get in the way of sharing his positive energy and sense of humour with the world. He was determined to live his life to the fullest and continued to pursue his passion in Chinese painting, and calligraphy. Once in awhile, he would delight his audience with the most magnificent calligraphy art, leaving many in awe. He also had a passion for cooking and his culinary skills were greatly admired by family and friends, always leaving many salivating for more. In addition, he had a big heart and spent a majority of his time volunteering for Longevitology, and continued to do so despite battling cancer. Family and friends would describe him as witty, personable, multi-talented and humorous. He had a special ability to light up a room with his amusing anecdotes and jokes. Although Kwan Wai Hung has left us, he will forever remain in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Kwan Wai Hung was preceded in death by his father, Kwan Sze Yan and his mother,
Tsang Woon Kit. He is survived by his wife Christina Leung Loi Hoo and his three sons, Eric, James and Jack, his brothers and several cousins, nieces and nephew.

A public memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, July 28th and at 9:30 AM on Monday, July 29th.

关伟雄,一位忠诚的丈夫、三个儿子慈爱的父亲,在经历与癌症病魔的勇敢抗争后,不幸 于 2019 年 7 月 22 日辞世,享年 71 岁。

关伟雄于 1948 年 5 月 10 日出生于香港,为父亲关树仁与母亲曾焕结的爱子。在他的一生中,他是妻子眼中的好丈夫,是孩子们眼中敬重的父亲,也是所有有幸认识他的人的忠诚的朋友。1983 年 5 月 25 日,他迎娶了自己美丽的妻子梁来好。他们共同养育了三个儿子:关普任、关普键和关普徽。

即使在身患重病时,关伟雄也愿意与大家分享自己乐观的心态和幽默感。他潜心钻研中国 水墨画和书法,并有较高的造诣。他时不时向众人展示自己的书法作品,给众人留下了深刻的印象。同时他深谙烹饪之术,每每奉上不同菜系的美食给亲友品尝,总会收获大家的交口称赞,不少亲友更对他的佳肴念念不忘。除此之外,他还花大量的时间研究养生学, 在身患癌症的同时亦不曾中断。家人和朋友眼中的他,智慧、亲切、幽默又才华横溢。他特别善于观察,在各种场合中恰如其分运用其幽默感为众人带来欢乐。尽管他已经离开了我们,然而关伟雄将永远活在爱他的所有人心中。

关伟雄是在他的双亲关树仁和曾焕结之后去世。他还在世的亲人包括妻子梁来好,儿子关普任、关普键和关普徽,他兄弟们,几位表兄弟姐妹,及几位外甥、外甥女。

谨定于 2019 年 7 月 28 日周日下午四点,和 2019 年 7 月 29 日周一上午 9:30 为关伟雄举办葬礼,诚邀各位亲朋前来吊唁。
