In memory of

Jean Wai Han Wu

August 4, 1956 -  December 26, 2018

After battling courageously for the past few years and surrounded by her loving family till the end, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Wai Han Wu on Wednesday December 26th, 2018 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre at the age of 62

Her life was a living example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

Dear Sister to Sam, Stella, Freddy, Peggy, Ming and Michelle. Beloved Aunt to Derek, Kelvin, Ivan, Justin and Jocelyn. All of these whom she loved and touched deeply. We are sincerely grateful to Jean’s many longtime friends who supported her with her long battle.

Special thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Scarborough General Hospital Oncology Department and St. Michael's Hospital who provided invaluable care to Jean for the past few months.

Please join us in celebrating her life; January 5, 2019, visitation at 12:00 pm at Elgin Mills Cemetery, 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to charity (https://donate.sunnybrook.ca/tribute) designated to Odette Cancer Centre will be greatly appreciated. Messages of condolence are welcomed at http://mountpleasantgroup.permavita.com/site/WaiHanWu.html
