In memory of

Wade Andrew Quesnelle

January 9, 1971 -  April 25, 2025

It is with profound sorrow that we share the passing of Wade Quesnelle on April 25, 2025. Beloved husband to Olga Quesnelle and cherished father to Troy Quesnelle and Alexandra Quesnelle. Precious son to Andrew and Merja Quesnelle and brother to Christopher Quesnelle, Dan Quesnelle, and Michael Quesnelle. Brother-in-law to Bethaney Rubin-Quesnelle and Kristina Linnamaa Quesnelle. Much loved uncle to Drew Quesnelle, Maddox Quesnelle, and Aila Quesnelle.

Wade was born in Sudbury, Ontario and moved to the Toronto area to pursue his dream of working in sports media. He worked in the Canadian media landscape for over twenty years during which he held positions at Headline Sports, the Score, TSN, and then in the news and entertainment side at Your Morning and CTV News Toronto. He has more recently enjoyed working in Client Relationship Management for BAASS.

Wade will be remembered for his avid love of sports- especially the NFL,listening to Bruce Springsteen, and most importantly, spending time with his family. Wade enjoyed watching his kids play baseball and hockey and the family spent many hours travelling to various tournaments. Wade’s easy going disposition and witty sense of humour will be missed by all who knew him.

So many memories! It’s hard not to smile when I think of them. I am so honoured to have been there from the start of their love story.
Our roommate days will be remembered for keeping “cha” cups separate from the drinking ones (you only make that mistake once).
Wade became the man my friend needed and a great father to Troy and Alex.
I will miss you Wadey! I know you’ll watch over Olga and the kids, but I promise you I will be here for them too.

Wade was my best friend and closest neighbour's across the street...It was great to step outside to know that we would be playing sports...Weather it be playing catch playing baseball or playing basketball or just running around and playing tag...We lost touch but because of Facebook we reunited our friendship and caught up...I'm shocked that you passed away buddy but we will all meet again!!! GOD BLESS R.I.P...

I am so sad to hear of Wade's passing. I always thought he was a funny and kind individual. I spent more time with his brothers - Dan and Chris and played basketball with all three of them at Lasalle. I know he will be missed by many and is leaving this world too soon. My condolences to his whole family.
