Vyvette Maureen Palewandrem

It is with deep sorrow we announce that Vyvette Maureen Palewandrem (née Newman), 79, of Scarborough, Ontario, passed away on October 31st, 2024.

Vyvette was born on August 10, 1945, to Helen and Anton Newman in Ceylon. She is survived by her sister Corine Moldrich (Terry) of England and was predeceased by her sister Romaine De Vos (Ralph) of Australia.

Vyvette was married to Adrian Ryan Palewandrem and had three children: Dian Palewandrem (Quebec), Adrian Roger Palewandrem (Ontario), and Brian Palewandrem (Quebec). She adored her grandchildren: Stephanie Palewandrem (Ontario), Davin Johnson (Narges) of Nova Scotia, and Ciera Davis (Daniel) of California.

Professional Life
Vyvette loved her job at Seven Oaks Long Term Care Home where she worked for many years until her retirement in 2010. She was a dedicated worker who consistently went above and beyond her call of duty.

Personal Life
Culinary Talent: Vyvette was renowned as the best cook in the family. She could effortlessly prepare a feast at a moment’s notice for unexpected guests. Her table was always open to anyone with a healthy appetite, making her home a warm and welcoming place to visit.

Family Devotion
As a dedicated mother, Vyvette did everything in her power for her children and grandchildren. Family was the cornerstone of her life.
