I am saddened to learn of Volda's passing. On my own behalf and that of Uncle Ben and my entire family I offer heartfelt condolences to Johnny, Douglas and their entire family.
Ben and I shared many happy memories with her and enjoyable trips to the Essequibo and Berbice.
Our last meeting was when I attended her 50th Wedding Anniversary. An enjoyable occasion.
We corresponded regularly until she was no longer physically able to do so.
May her soul rest in Peace.

She may not have approved of everything I did, may not have liked some of the decisions I made, but she didn’t lecture, she didn’t judge. She just kept loving me, letting me know that she was there, and if I ever needed her, I could count on her to listen, to comfort, to help. She helped me a lot in life and I'm going to miss her.
