In memory of

Virginia Emma Luckock

September 26, 1915 -  February 18, 2019

Luckock, Virginia Emma ( nee Leroy )

September 26, 1915-February 18, 2019

Born in Detroit to the late Charles and Emma LeRoy. the family, including two daughters ( Gertrude and Rita ) and a son (Donald), moved to Ontario when Virginia was 3 years old. Married to Cawthorne (Cort d.2007) in
1939. She was proficient at crafts, loved to travel to Myrtle Beach, a bubbly personality who was active in everyone's life. A sad day but Virginia had a very long and wonderful life, she passed peacefully in her sleep.
Survived by her daughter Gloria ( Gerald ), sons Doug ( Barbara), Cameron. She adored her 7 grandchildren: Chris, Phil, Kelly, Laura, Dana Connie and Tina and many great and great-great grandchildren.
She has certainly seen and been a part of a world of change in her 103 years. Our thanks to all the staff at South Lake Residential Care Village for all their loving care for Mom for the last few years. A gathering to take place in the late spring.

We have memories of interesting chats during lunch when we visited. I always took the McCoubrey Family Album which Virginia delighted in going through remembering all the relatives and times when she was young. We always admired Virginia's enthusiasm for life.
