COLBOURN, Violet Helen Gertrude - Passed away peacefully on September 19, 2017 in Mississauga at the age of 94. Violet, beloved wife of Bruce for 65 years. Dear mother of Robert and his wife Jean-Marie (Ricci), Donald and his wife Diana (Cape). Loving grandmother of Katherine (Christopher Gorczynski), Christine (Christopher Kulina), Michael (Kimmie Acton), Sarah and Stephanie. Dear great-grandmother of Kyle, Natalie and Owen Kulina. Also survived by her brothers and sisters Catherine (Kitty) Gillette, Ernie Johnson, Walter (Wally) Johnson, Thomas (Tom) Johnson, Marina (Rennie) Kelcher.

A Service of Celebration will be held Monday, September 25 at The Simple Alternative, 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga, Ontario. Service 11:00 am, visitation 11:45 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Dear Bob and family, deepest condolences from my family to yours on the passing of your Mum. My only memory of her is a picture that Kat showed me where Violet was smiling at the pot of violets on the table that I had asked Kat to give her, since I had just split up the big bunch of violets that thrived quite well by my kitchen window. God bless her soul and may she rest in peace.
