On Monday, September 9th, 2024 within the Fountainview Care home, Vinh Nhu La, peacefully left our world at 88 years of age into the afterlife following a long battle his family knew all too well between his will to live and his body aging. He was fortunate to hold the titles of husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, during his life-time.
He is survived by his dear wife, Chan La, his loving family and his beloved sister, Ier Sem. Vinh and Chan were blessed with three children. Their eldest son, Luc, his wife Joanne as well as their children and grandchildren. Their second son, Vy and his partner, Phanna, along with his daughter, Anaïs, and Hong, her remarkable mother. Their only daughter, My Ly, and her husband Chen, together with their children Ryo and Qiara.
A ceremony in his honour will be held at Elgin Mills Funeral Center where a viewing, funeral service, and cremation are expected to take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 1-3:30PM.
