Vincent Tin-Wah Lam (林殿華), beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully on February 1st, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.
Vincent was born in Guangzhou, China on July 28, 1946. Family, friends, and faith were the cornerstones of his life. He was one of ten siblings, and the first to come to Canada in hopes of obtaining a better education and creating a better life for his family. As an Electrical Engineer, Vincent had many proud accomplishments and is well respected in the community. His generosity, kindness, and love never went unnoticed amongst those around him. His friends remember him as someone who always wore a smile on his face, was always eager to lend a helping hand, and had always put others before himself. Faith and love were ultimately what gave Vincent strength and peace in his final days; a true inspiration as to how to walk life’s journey with integrity, dignity, and serenity.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, February 8th at York Cemetery & Funeral Centre (160 Beecroft Rd, Toronto, ON). Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at 10 am, followed by a service at 11 am. Following the burial, a light lunch will be served at Legend Chinese Restaurant (7289 Yonge St, Unit 8 & 9 / 5 Glen Cameron Road, Thornhill, ON). Please ensure to RSVP to a member of the family.
