In memory of

Vincent Chin-Cheung Yee

May 8, 1985 -  August 11, 2023

Vincent Chin-Cheung Yee passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on August 11th, 2023, at the age of 38.
Vincent was born in Toronto on May 8th, 1985, into a lively and loving family. He was caring and kindhearted towards everyone and made those around him better people. He knew the true meaning of being compassionate, respectful, and helping others before himself.
Vincent loved the outdoors; he enjoyed camping, hiking, and riding his bicycle. He loved to challenge himself physically and took good care of himself. He was an avid video gamer. He enjoyed cooking and trying different foods at home. We will miss his delicious short bread cookies.
He was preceded in death by his late father, Paul Ming Wah Yee.
He will always be remembered with much love by his mother, Sook Ching Yee; older brother, Raymond; sister in-law, Phong; nephew, Rhys; younger brother, Simon; and a long list of deeply saddened aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and colleagues.
We would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to the first responders for their professionalism and compassion they provided for Vincent and our family.
Our family was not expecting Vincent’s life to be cut so short so soon. We are all devastated by this huge loss, and he will be forever missed. We can all find solace in knowing he has been reunited with his late father.

We are so saddened by Vincent's sudden passing and the fact that we could not say good bye to him. We are still in shock but we are comforted to know that he is in a better place now keeping his father company. Rest in peace while you are amongst the stars.

He was a good friend and a good man and I have many fond memories of Vince over the years. The long hours playing video games or the times hitting up bars with the JLC. All I can say is I wish we had more time but I hope you were able to find peace where you are.

Love,

Mike

Vince was one of my best friends in school. We spent a lot of time together, especially playing video games. I was very sad to hear of his passing, and I will miss him.
