Both Gord and I were truly saddened hearing of Verna's passing. Though we only met Verna and Gordon a few times at family gatherings she was a lovely kind person. We feel privileged that we knew her only briefly. She was truly loved and will be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time. We are sorry we cannot be with you for the service. We will see you on our return. It must have been very special for you to be with your Dad and sisters during your Mom's final hours at home. She must have felt very surrounded by your love.

Auntie Verna led her life in a supporting role; nurturing and being there. I'm inspired by her grace.
