In memory of

Vera Morrison

January 19, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Vera Morrison, who passed away in Ajax, Ontario. Born in Manchester, Jamaica, Vera was a kind and loving woman whose legacy will live on for many generations.
A lifelong educator, Vera had a deep passion for learning, especially in mathematics and reading. She dedicated her career to teaching and found great joy in helping her grandchildren with their homework. She was an active member of her church’s seniors club and regularly attended Sunday evening gatherings, cherishing the fellowship and community.

Vera was known for her warm heart, good sense of humor, and unwavering generosity. She always went out of her way to help others and found happiness in making her grandchildren feel loved, happy, and comfortable. She also enjoyed long walks and exercise, embracing the simple joys of life.

She is survived by her siblings, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild, who will forever cherish her love, wisdom, and kindness.

Vera’s life was guided by faith, and one of her favorite scriptures was Isaiah 40:31:
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
